Lavone Glee Schleusener (Orchard)

Funeral services for Lavone Glee Schleusener age 74 of Orchard will be held 10: AM. Saturday July 2, 2011 at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Orchard. Visitation for Lavone will be from 5-8 PM. Friday at the Ashburn Funeral Home in orchard. Burial will be in the St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. Lavone passed away June 28, 2011 at the Antelope Memorial Hospital.

Lavone Glee Thorin Schleusener was born December 6, 1936 in Chambers Nebraska to parents C. Edwin and Edyth V. (Edwards) Thorin. Lavone was baptized April 4, 1944 at the Methodist Church in Chambers and confirmed at the St. Peter’s English Lutheran Church in Orchard on February 15, 1959.

Lavone graduated from O/Neill Public High school on May 19, 1954. On October 4 of 1958 Lavone Married Vernon William Otto Schleusener at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Orchard. To this union two Children were born. Leroy November 24, 1959 and Bruce August 16, 1963.

Lavone was employed at the Bank of Orchard from August 22, 1955 to October 31, 1995. In January of 1995 Lavone became a Director at the Bank of Orchard.

Lavone is survived by her son Leroy Schleusener of O’Neill, Nebraska and Proceeded in death by her Husband Vernon and son Bruce Schleusener.
