Donna Lee Reynolds (Brunswick)

Funeral services for Donna L. Reynolds will be held Friday, November 9th, at 10:30 A.M. at the Brunswick Congregational Church in Brunswick with burial in the Brunswick Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 8th , from 5-8 P.M. at the Ashburn Funeral Home in Plainview. Donna passed away Tuesday, November 6th, at the Alegent/Creighton Plainview Hospital in Plainview.

Donna Lee Reynolds was born September 23rd, 1924 at Brunswick, NE to Ivan and Etta (Dyson) Swan. She received her education at District 77 in Antelope County and graduated from Brunswick High School in 1941. She went to Wayne State College and received her teaching certificate and taught in rural schools in Antelope County for several years. In 1945, she went to California to work at Air Force Supply. On July 29th, 1945 she married Francis Reynolds at Long Beach, California. She then taught school for several years before returning to Nebraska to start farming with her husband and raise her family. They were blessed with four children: Douglas, Jody, Tuana, and Synthia. Donna was a member of the Brunswick Congregational Church and their Circle, Help-U-Club, and other organizations. She enjoyed quilting, entertaining, spending time with family, and also wintering in Arizona.

Donna is survived by her husband, Francis, of 67 Years and her four children: Douglas (Elaine) Reynolds of Brunswick, Jody (Bradley) Stelling of York, Tuana (Ed) Wahrer of Brunswick, and Synthia Reynolds of Omaha, 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan & Etta Swan, her sister June Olson, and an infant brother Harold.
