Funeral Services for Delores Mae Petersen age 86 will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday September 30, 2009 at the Plainview United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen Smith officating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View cemetery in Plainview.
Delores Mae Petersen was born February 7, 1923 in Plainview, Nebraska to parents Frank and Mabel Miller and died on Friday , September 25, 2009 a the Papillion manor.
Delores married Vernon (Mike) Petersen on December 2, 1941 and worked on the farm west of Plainview.
Preceding her in death was her husband "Mike" Petersen, her sister Josephine Smith, her brother Ronald Miller, and grandchildren Kimberly Courtnage and Mike Gentzler.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-laws, Kathy and Angelo Anzalone, Dianne and Dave Rhode; grandchildren Vicki Witkovshi and Lori Lentz; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandsons; nieces and nephews and other relatives.
