Barbara Jean Bright

Funeral services for Barbara Jean Bright age 79 of Royal will be held at 10:00 Saturday October 3, 2009 at the United Methodist Church in Orchard with the Rev. Eric Ford officiating burial will be in the Royal City Cemetery. Barbara passed away October 28, 2009 at the Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
Barbara Jean was born March 14, 1930 to Loren and Avis Hoskins in the small community of Guide Rock, Nebraska. Barbara graduated from Guide Rock High School in 1948.
On Apri1 16 1948 Barbara married James J. Bright in Bartlett, Nebraska. To this union two sons were born, Steven (Jim) J. September 8. 1949 and Larry A. June 19, 1953.
Barbara was a dedicated wife and mother. Along with teaching in Red Cloud, NE. The family then moved to Royal, NE. where Barbara continued teaching in area schools ending her last 20 years in the Royal Public School.
Those preceeding her in death were her husband Jim (1997), son Larry (1993).
Barbara is survived by her son Jim and wife Lois of Royal, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers.
Barbara will be missed by many family and friends.
