Evelyn Louise Schneckloth was born November 22, 1919 at the Eden Valley area Plainview,NE to John & Ida (Kumm) Hoffart, and died February 7 at Osmond,NE. She was baptized and confirmed in the Eden Valley Lutheran Church. She went to school at Dist. 21 until the 8th grade and then helped work at home. She married Jess R. Gray at Bloomfield on September 21, 1940. Two sons were born, Franklin and Roger. They farmed in the Bloomfield and Osmond area. In 1956 Jess died of complications. She later married Irwin Schneckloth of Osmond on June 1, 1962 at Immanuel Lutheran in Osmond. Irwin also had two boys, Gary & Denis. They farmed and then moved in to Osmond in 1982. Evelyn belonged to Ladies Aid, Ladies Legion Auxillary, & Sunny Dale Club.

Survivors include two sons, Franklin of Pierce & Roger & Diane of Osmond, two step sons, Gary & Glorianna of Parker Colorado & Denis & Trudy of Lincoln. 8 grand-children, Valerie, Melanie, Regena, Sarah, Maria, Lisa, Travis & Kylee. 10 Great grandchildren & 8 great great grandchildren. Two brothers Vern & Bernice of Malcolm & Dwain of Lincoln.

She was preceeded by parents, infant son, both husbands, three sisters, Lois Kosek, Elaine Boggs, & Doris Ickler & two brothers Harold Hoffart & Wilbert Hoffart and one grandson Mark Schneckloth.
