Arlene May Baber (Plainview)

Funeral services for Arlene M. Baber age 89 of Plainview will be held 2:00PM. Thursday April 8, 2010 at the Ashburn Funeral Home in Plainview. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service with burial in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Plainview. Arlene passed away April 3, 2010 at the Plainview Manor.

Arlene was born July 14, 1920 in Plainview, Ne. to parents Jennie and Delbert Baber. Arlene attended school at Plainview and Graduated in 1938. Arlene attended Norfolk Business College in 1939. She then attended the University of Nebraska Hospital School of Radialogy in Omaha, where she was certified as an X-ray technician in 1940.

Arlene then returned to Plainview to work at the Plainview Clinic for 40 years where she retired in 1987.

She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, reading and traveling. Memorials may be sent to the Plainview Social Center, Plainview Fire Department or the Nebraska Arthritis Foundation.
