Donald C. Larsen (Plainview)

Memorial services for Donald C. Larsen will be held on Friday April 16, 2010 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Plainview with inurnment in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Donald C. Larsen, 65 of Plainview, NE passed away Tuesday April 13th at the Monarch Home in Lincoln, NE after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Carol and the late Arthur Larsen on July 27th, 1944. He was married to the late Sandra (Wecker) Larsen for 32 years. Don was a dedicated employee at Vulcraft in Norfolk for 30 years and spent the last 8 years at S & A Feedlot in Plainview.
Don was a horse enthusiast and the love he had for his two horses was only shadowed by his affection for his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his only son Jim and wife Anne, and their 7 children Ellen, Gabe, Meredith, Max, Gemma, Audrey, and Josie. He is survived by his mother Carol of Winside, sisters Joyce &( Doug) Long of Herman, Jan & ( Jim) Burger of Plainview, Darlene & ( Gary ) Appel of Hoskins, Delores & ( Bill Fallesen of Carroll. Brothers Richard Larsen of Randolph, Rex & (Sueanne) Larsen of Snyder, and Derald Larsen of St. Lawrence SD. Also Sister-in-law Sharon& (William) Brockemeier of Osmond and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday, April 16th at 2:00 pm in Plainview at the Zion Lutheran Church. Memorials can be sent to Zion Lutheran School in Plainview, NE.
