Marlene Ray Dredge (Randolph)

Funeral services for Marlene Ray Dredge, 64, of Randolph will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday September 20th at the United Methodist Church in Randolph. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM. on Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Randolph. Burial will be in the Randolph City Cemetery.
Marlene left this world to be in a better place on Sept. 15, 2010 at the Pierce Manor.

Marlene was born on a family farm outside of McLain on July 16, 1946. She was the youngest of three children born to Mayo and Bernice (Greeno) Frederick. She was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist church, where she had been a member for 50 years and was a member of the United Methodist Women Group.

Marlene attended elementery school @ District #58 East and graduated from Randolph Public School in 1963.

Marlene was joined in marriage to Clifford Dredge whom she was married for 43 years. Together they nurtured and raised a wonderful family who was her pride and joy. Clifford and Marlene farmed outside of Randolph where they lived until they moved to a home in Randolph. Marlene had various jobs mainly devoting her working years caring for patients at the Osmond General Hospital.

Marlene enjoyed croceting and traveling. Most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by laughter of her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, four children and their spouses: Roger and Michelle Pilger of Carroll, Clayton and Teresa Dredge of Seward, J.J. and Janelle Landanger of Wood River, and David and Crystal Dredge of Wayne; two brothers and their wives: Clifford and Martha Frederick, Marvin and Randy Frederick. Ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents. She will be missed by many!
