Robert (Bob) Paul Goetzinger

Funeral services for Robert (Bob) P. Goetzinger were held on Wednesday, November 24 at the Ashburn Funeral Home with Father Keith Rezac officiating. Burial was held in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
Robert P. Goetzinger was born on June 10, 1938 in Creighton to Joseph and Margaret (Wingert) Goetzinger and died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Plainview Area Health System. He was 72 years old.
He attended St. Ludger’s Catholic School in Creighton and graduated from Plainview High School, later joining the Army. He lived in Alaska, Omaha, and Colorado, before returning to the Plainview area. He liked to fish and hunt.
Robert is survived by one brother, Don and his wife Dee of Plainview; four sisters, Mary Ellefson of Iowa, Helen and Joel Kee of Pilger, Peg and Ron Bonta of Plainview, and Joan Lillie of North Sioux City, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jim, Chuck, Alfred, and Leonard (Butch), and a great nephew, Joel Dirks.
