Funeral services for Aletha Woslager age 90 of Ewing were 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ewing, Ne, with Father James Kramper, Officiating. Music was provided by Rita Kester. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Woslager, Craig Schmeckpeper, Matt Burk, Chad Schmeckpeper, Scott Woslager, Tim Woslager, Jeremy Woslager, and Brad Sievers. Special Honorary Pallbearers were Pat Burk. Honorary Pallbearers were Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ewing, with a 7:00 pm Wake Service. Aletha passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Aletha Mae Woslager was born on December 21, 1920 to James and Alvina (Hienzpeter) Cadwell in Columbus, Ne. She was baptized in the Catholic Church in 1940. Aletha grew up in Oakdale. She attended school in Oakdale, Ne. On May 27, 1940 she was united into marriage to Alphonso Woslager at St. Peter's Catholic Church. They made their home on the farm in the Ewing area. She worked at Antelope Memorial Hospital in the kitchen for 30 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Christian Mother's Society. Aletha loved spending time with her family and she liked camping, sewing, baking cakes for her grandchildren's birthdays and all the family gatherings.

She is survived by her children: Richard and his wife, Shirley Woslager of Carroll, Ne, Catherine and husband, Larry Schmeckpeper of West Point, NE, William and wife Mary Woslager of Ewing, Ne, Lois and husband Mike Hemphill of Baton Rouge, La, Jeanette Cradit of Lincoln, Ne and special friend, Doug, Mary Burk of Chambers, Ne and special friend, Don, and Barbara and husband Mike Bartak of Ewing, Ne. 25 Grandchildren, 54 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Sister, Joan Hardin of Omaha, Ne. Preceded in death by her parents. Her husband, Alphonso (2002). A daughter, Corla Rose. Grandson, Pat Burk. Brothers and Sister: Levi Cadwell, Leo Cadwell, Jerome Cadwell, Ruth Gregerson, June Patra, Demares Armstrong, Jim Cadwell, and Donnie Dale Cadwell. Memorials may be directed to Aseracare Hospice in O'Neill.
