Memorial Service for Charles Duane Primus age 83 of Neligh, NE will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Calvary Bible Church in Neligh with Pastor Peter Sample, Officiating. Duane passed away on January 8, 2019 at Neligh Care and Rehabilitation.

Charles Duane Primus was born on September 10, 1935 at Taylor, NE to Fay and Edith (Shipley) Primus. He attended school in Ewing and attended high school in Oakdale. On May 23, 1954 he was united in marriage to Evangeline Verplank at her parents home in Neligh, NE. Duane farmed for many years East and South of Neligh on their farm. He also worked at Reinke’s as tractor mechanic for many years and worked for the City of Neligh. He enjoyed fishing and hunting at his younger years.
He is survived by his wife, Evangeline of Neligh, NE. Children: Mary Ann Mlady of Neligh, NE and David and Becky Primus of Sargent, NE. Grandchildren: Steven Thomas, Crystal Horky, Laura Warta, and Daniel Primus and 3 great grandchildren. Two brothers: Don and Rose Primus of Surprise, NE and Marvin and Linda Primus of Cedar Rapids, NE.
Preceded in death by his parents. Two sisters, Arlene Kee, and Thelma Hill. Brother, Lyle Primus.
