Cheryl Lee Spencer Memorial services for Cheryl Lee Spencer age 67 of Neligh will be Tuesday June 19, 2007 at 2:00 at Snider Memorial Chapel in Neligh. Burial will be at the Royal Cemetery. Pastor Sharee Johnson will be officiating. She passed away Thursday, January 19, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in Neligh. Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Neligh is handling the arrangements. Cheryl Lee Spencer was born June 6, 1939 at Neligh, Ne the daughter of Roy Francis and Geraldine Mae (Allen). She grew up and graduated from Clearwater High School with the class of 1957. She then moved to Coos Bay, OR and married Melvin Spencer at his parent�s home. To this marriage three daughters were born; Deborah, Diana, and Rebecca. She worked as a manager for McKay�s Markets until she retired in 1994 and moved back to Neligh where she resided. Cheryl enjoyed camping, reading, playing bingo, and collecting roosters. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, children and family Bar-b-que�s. She is survived by her daughters: Deborah Sue Martin of Coos Bay, OR, Diana Jo and husband Gary Taylor of Prineville, OR, and Rebecca Anne and husband Dan Muse of Coos Bay, OR; Grandchildren: Christopher Martin, Jaycen Spencer Martin, McKenzie Burgess, Jayme Burgess, Jerred Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, and Kristopher Muse; and a Great-grandchild Addison James Martin ( born on Cheryl�s birthday); 2 brothers: Roy Davis, and Richard and his wife Debbie Davis all of Neligh; 4 sisters: Connie and husband Clint Sloan of Athena, OR, Judy and husband Wayne Gauntz of North Bend, OR, Pamela and her husband Larry Kirkpatrick of Eugene, OR, and Patricia and her husband Frank Johnson of Coos Bay, OR. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and a son in law James Martin.
