Funeral Services for Dal Kimes, age 71 of Fremont, NE, will be at 1:30p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater, with Pastor Wayne Smith. Music provided by Carol Thiele. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service. Burial will be in the Clearwater City Cemetery. Pallbearers Monty Filsinger, Ken Kusik, Steve Kimes, Terry Good, Sam Depetro, Ryne Baker, and Loren Colbeck. Dal passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 Fremont, NE. Arrangements are being conducted by Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials to: American Diabetes Association. Dal Warren Kimes was born on May 6, 1941 in Clearwater, NE to Roy and Hazel (McDonald) Kimes. He graduated from Neligh High School with the class of 1960. Dal graduated from Midland Lutheran with a degree in Business Administration. He was an accountant for United Agri-products/ Con-Agra in Fremont, NE then transferred to Greeley, CO in 1989. He retired with 25 years of service and moved back to Fremont in 2001. Dal enjoyed playing cards, pool, and all sports. His favorite teams are the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies

Survived by Dean Kimes, of Neligh, NE, Maurine Filsinger of Fremont, NE, Tom Moughan of Houston, TX. Several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Roy and Hazel Kimes. Sisters: Roycene (Kimes) Kusik and Barbara (Kimes) Moughan. Brother-in-laws: Joe Kusik and Merle Filsinger. Sister-in-law: Phyllis Kimes.
