Funeral Service for Donald Bearinger age 75, of Vancouver, WA were at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Carroll Plisek, officiating. Burial were at the Clearwater Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by the American Legion Post 267 of Clearwater. Pallbearers were Luke Mitchell, Kaydon Mitchell, Jake Mitchell, Jeremy Snyder, Paul Real, Mick Mitchell, and Tip Snyder. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the Snider Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Don passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 in Vancouver, WA at Southwest Washington Medical Center. Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater is handling the arrangements.

Donald Bearinger was born June 23, 1934 at Clearwater, NE to Lloyd and Ruth (Bailey) Bearinger. He attended school at Clearwater, graduating in 1953. He entered the US Navy in 1953 serving his country during the Korean War and was discharged in 1957. He remained in Washington living in Seattle, Camas and Vancouver. He enjoyed coaching American Legion Baseball, dancing, and golf. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Elks, Moose, and Eagles.

He is survived by two daughters, Donna Suhr of Norfolk, NE and Carmen Mitchell of Omaha, NE, three step-children, Marilyn (Dan) Colson and Bruce Clemens of Vancouver, and Joni Flood of Carson, WA, a sister, Clarabel (Jim) Scott of Columbus, NE, nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Harold Bearinger, a nephew and two great nieces.
