Funeral Service for Dora Bolling age 94, of Clearwater were 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Concordia Lutheran Church with Pastor Daniel Feusse, officiating. Music was provided by Caroline Jaeke, Organist and Curtis Bolling, Soloist. Burial was at the Clearwater City Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Bolling II, Ronnie Sterns, Morgan Sterns, Merlin Bolling Jr, Kevin Bolling, and Curtis Bolling. Honorary Pallbearers were Brenda Sterns, Rachelle Ward, Rachele Maxon, Jamie Scholz, and Sara Parks. Visitation was from 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater. Dora passes away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Neligh, NE. Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater is handling the arrangements.

Dora Emma Behnk Bolling was born on March 14, 1916 to Jurgen “John” and Frieda (Brockmoller) Behnk in Clearwater, Nebraska. She attended south of Clearwater District # 21. On August 19, 1943 she was united into marriage to Arnold Bolling at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clearwater. . On July 2, 1944 she was confirmed at Concordia Lutheran Church. They made there home on the farm south of Clearwater until she went into the nursing home November 2005. She was a Homemaker, but loved helping out on the farm with the chores especially her chickens. She enjoyed playing cards, Senior Citizens, quilting, gardening, cooking, and canning. She always made her homemade mustard. She enjoyed her grandkids having Easter Egg hunts with them. She was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church.

Survived by her sons: James and wife Bobbi Bolling of Neligh, NE and Merlin and wife Janice Bolling of Clearwater, NE. She has 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. 2 Brothers: Louis Behnk of Clearwater, NE, Clarence and wife Lois Behnk of Neligh, NE. A Sister, Hilda Caulfield of Snohomish, WA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, grandson Jerod, Daughter-in-law Gayl, 6 sisters; Alma, Rose, Clara, and 3 in infancy; 3 brothers, Jurgen, Adolph, and Otto.
