Eva A. Cornett

April 24, 1916 — July 25, 2010

Funeral Services for Eva Cornett, age 94 of Neligh, formally of Brunswick were at 10:30 am Friday, July 30, 2010 at Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Brunswick, Ne. Pastor Kringle, Officiating. Music was provided by Ardith Carr, Organist, LuAnn Doerr, Pianist, Loring North and Christopher Filsinger Soloist. Burial was in the Tilden City Cemetery. Pallbears were Kevin Filsinger, Rick Stettner, Randy Stettner, Rod Stettner, Sean Stettner, and Daniel Filsinger. Visitation was from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home, Clearwater.

Eva passed away Sunday, July 25,2010 at Osmond General Hospital in Osmond.

Eva was born on April 24,1916 to Walter and Blanche (Quynn) Hankla at Plenty, Canada. She attended High School in Meadow Grove graduating in 1934. On November 3, 1936 she was united into marriage to Fred Cornett in Tilden. She was a homemaker, helping out on the farm whatever needed to be done she pitched in. Eva taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, but most of all her family and grandkids was a big part of her life. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance at Brunswick and Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her children: Virginia and husband Duaine Filsinger, of Clearwater, Ne, Betty and husband Dallas Stettner of Sidney, Ne, and Gary and wife Aradelle Cornett of Longview, TX. 10 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 10 Great Great Grandchildren. 1 Brother, Orval and wife Delores Hankla, Clearwater, Ne.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband. Brothers: Lester, Walter, Clair. Sisters: Frances, Marie, Ruth, Ina, Amazetta, Phoebe.
