Funeral Services Harriet B. Aubert, age 89 of Brunswick, NE were 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013 at Community Church of C & MA in Brunswick with Pastor John Kringle, Officiating. Music was provided by Judy Cole and soloist was Loring North. Pallbearers were Boyd Pedersen, Paul Christian, Micah Aubert, Ethan Christian, Cory Keating, and Corwin Horst. Honorary Pallbears were Wayne Aubert, Allen Aubert, Merlin Lillie, Bruce Pedersen, Jon Cole, Mitch Pedersen, Tyler Pedersen, Brain McCracken, Cecilea Keating, Hayden Keating, Ethan Christian, Addyson Keating, Caitlin Christian, Kollin Christian, Corinthiea Keating, Reed Johnson, "Baby Aubert", Angela Keating, Marquee Aubert, Krista Christian, and Jessica Aubert. Burial was in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Neligh, NE. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh. Harriet passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, NE. Harriet Belle (Johnson) Aubert was born October 4, 1923 west of Orchard, Ne to Roy and Lela (Eckhoff) Johnson. She moved to Brunswick , Ne at age 3 this is when she started attending the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. She attended and graduated from Brunswick High School with the class of 1941. After school she went to work for Brunswick Lumber and Coal and Johnson's grocery. She moved to Lincoln, Ne and worked at Darling Dress Shop for a short time and then moved back to work at JcPenneys in Neligh. On February 18, 1946 she was united in marriage to Harold Aubert at the Brunswick Community Church in Brunswick, the couple made their home in the Brunswick area and in 1968 built their home that they lived in. Harriet was baptized on September 23, 1979 at the Brunswick Community Church. They enjoyed spending winters in Florida for over 25 years. Harold passed February 5, 2009 at Norfolk, Ne.
She continued to live in their home and enjoyed doing her crocheting, needle point and baking. She greatly enjoyed her time with her family and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Union of #357 in Brunswick.

Survivors include a son, Lynn and wife Crystal Aubert of Cleveland , TN; a daughter, Janet and husband Bill Christian of Norfolk, NE. 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Bulah Pedersen, brother LeRoy.
