Funeral Services for James W. Hollenback age 53 of Ewing, Nebraska, will be Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church in Winner, South Dakota with Pastor Fritz Zimbelman, Officiating. Burial will be at the Winner Cemetery in Winner, South Dakota. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2010 4 to 8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater, Nebraska.
Jim passed away Friday, January 22, 2010 at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill, Nebraska.
James William Hollenback was born to William and Grace (Ekroth) Hollenback on January 17, 1957 in Winner, SD. Jim was baptized on February 2, 1969 at the First Christian Church in Winner. He attended school at Presho, SD. On March 28, 1991 he was united into marriage to Marlene Reiter in O�Neill, Ne. Jim was a ranch hand, he worked at J & E Feedlot and the Elgin area for 3 years. In 1990 he went to work for Hobbs in Ewing. Jim liked his horses, team roping, ranch rodeos, and brandings. His kids and grandkids was a big part of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene of Ewing, NE. Children, Cody Hollenback and Fianc' Kim of CO, Levi & wife Ashley Hollenback of Ewing, NE, and Jami Jo "Fred" Hollenback of Ewing, NE. Grandchildren, Wyatt and Brenna Hollenback; Emma Hollenback. Brother; Ted Hollenback of Winner, SD. Sister, Barb & Husband Rob Spargo of Lake Wood, OH. Sister-in-law, Brenda Hollenback of Kennebec, SD. Aunt, Meta Hollenback of Hot Springs, SD. Mother-in-law Lucille Reiter of Ewing, NE. Sister-in-law Diane and husband Steve Good of Wisner, NE. Brother-in-laws, Larry Reiter, Gary Reiter, and Steve Reiter all Ewing, NE. Many nieces and Nephews.
Proceeded in death by his Parents, Brother, George Hollenback, and step-daughter, Lucinda.
