Memorial Services for John A. Kropp, age 64, of Neligh will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Ewing, Nebraska, with Father James Kramper, officiating.
Mr. Kropp passed away Monday, April 6, 2009, in Neligh, Nebraska.
John Arthur Kropp was born on December 10, 1944 to Arthur and Dolores (Young) Kropp at O'Neill, Nebraska. He attended Ewing High School, graduating with the class of 1963. He enlisted in the United States Army on June 7, 1963, at Omaha, Nebraska. John was discharged on May 28, 1966. He went into the Army Reserve until June 6, 1969. John then resided in Omaha as a computer draftsman. He moved to Neligh, Nebraska, in 2005, working at the Golden Living Center. John was an avid Husker Football fan.
He is survived by his children Jill, Jody, and Jason; sister, Sharon Araji and her husband, Jim of Denver, CO; brothers, Jim and wife, Mardelle of Parma, ID, Richard and wife, Sue of Omaha, NE, Max and wife, Sheila of Ewing, NE, and Tim of Norfolk, NE.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
