Funeral services for Judy Arlene Filsinger age 65 of Norfolk will be 11:00 am Friday, August 22, 2008 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater with Pastor Lee Weander, officiating. Burial will be in the Clearwater Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 am, Friday, August 22, 2008 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater. Judy passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in Norfolk, Ne. Arrangements are being conducted by Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater.
Judy was born on July 30, 1943 in Clearwater, Ne to Raymond and Eunice (Meyer) Filsinger. She grew up in Clearwater Ne. She was baptized and confirmed at Concordia Lutheran Church in Clearwater. She attended rural country school till the 6th grade and then went to Clearwater High School until the family moved to Norfolk her senior year and she then graduated from Norfolk High School in 1960. She moved to California until 2001 when she returned back to Norfolk.
Judy was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She loved playing the piano at the Norfolk Senior Center and the Nursing Home. She also loved her cats.
She is survived by her Sisters; Karen and her husband Jerry Hahlbeck of Ewing, NE. Lois and her husband Ron Marshall of Neligh, NE; and a brother Paul and his wife Shannon Filsinger of Norfolk, NE. and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
