Funeral services For Kathy Lorenzen was at 11:00 am, May 25, 2004 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater, NE with Pastor Kay Alnor, Pastor Roy Smith, and Rev. Ray Avidano officiating. Music will be provided by Mike Behnk, soloist. Music selections will be �Great Speckled Bird�, �Silent Night� and �Precious Memories�. Pallbearers will be David, LeRoy, and Johnny Behnk and Chuck Risinger, Ed Auger, Tim Sullivan. Burial was in the Clearwater Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-8:00 p.m. at the Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater. Kathy Ann Behnk was born July 19, 1953 at Neligh, Ne, the daughter of Otto and Alma Jane (Ollendick) Behnk. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Theresa�s Catholic Church in Clearwater. She grew up in the Clearwater area and attended rural schools and graduated from Clearwater High School in 1971. She married Lonnie D Lorenzen on March 18, 1972 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Clearwater. The couple later moved to Tulsa, OK where she worked at St. John's Hospital for 20 years. She volunteered with numerous organizations such as the Adult Literacy Program in Tulsa, SGNA, and New Home Freewill Baptist of Tulsa, Sunday School Teacher, and Cancer support group. She enjoyed fishing, reading, gardening, traveling, scuba diving, and water skiing, and her church. Survivors include her former husband Lonnie D. Lorenzen of Tulsa, OK. Her mother, Alma Jane Behnk of Clearwater, NE a son James and his wife Brandi (B.J.) Lorenzen of Bartesville, OK; a daughter Brandi Lorenzen of Papillion, NE., three brothers, David Behnk of Clearwater, LeRoy and Ronda Behnk of Elgin, and Johnny and Cindy Behnk of Gulfport, Miss., three sisters, Judy and Chuck Risinger of Pierce, Carol and Tim Sullivan of Norfolk, and Mary and Ed Auger of Wilsall, MT. She was preceded in death by her father Otto.
