A Celebration of Life for Michael D. Rice age 66 of Neligh will be July 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakdale Community Center in Oakdale, NE. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Mike passed away on May 30, 2019 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk.

Michael DeWayne Rice was born on February 7, 1953 to Henry and Helen (Reefe) Rice at Plainview, Nebraska. He graduated from Tilden High School with the Class of 1973. He was united in marriage to Cindy Wulf on April 22, 1978 in Norfolk. Mike worked at Carharts, Tinsley Grain, Beef of America, and retired in 2008. He enjoyed hunting, grilling, collecting semis trucks, and fishing. Spending time with family and grandchildren. He was a member of the Neligh Lions Club.
Survived by his wife, Cindy of Neligh, NE. Daughters: KikiMarie (Jarrod) Reese of Stanton, NE; Nikki (Vince) Kallhoff of Oakdale, NE; and Kala (Kyle) Pelster of Elgin, NE. Grandchildren: Alek, Corah, Olivia, Lexie, Gage, Evin, Logann, and Brycen. Brother, Bob and Louise Pick of Ogalla, NE and Bev Rice or Slivis, IL. Brother-in-law, Lyle Dredge of Neligh, Ne. Many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents. Brothers: RoDean, Richard, Jim, Patrick (infancy) and Bob. Sister, Nadine, Jolene, and LaVonne. Nephew, Rick and brother-in-law, Leo and Boyd.
