A Celebration of life for Robert "Whitey" Wildman, age 81 of Neligh, NE was from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh, Ne. Honorary Pallbearers were Heidi McConnell, Brett Rix, Aleacia Rix, Nicholas Wildman, Kayla Wildman, Kyle Wildman, Aidann Wildman, Brittany McConnell, Mason Siems, Alyx Siems, Logan McConnell, Ty Rix, Derek Rix, Ethan Rix, Sydni McConnell, Weston Hoefeldt, and Hanna Hoefeldt. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date. Whitey passed away on July 2, 2012 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh, NE.

Robert "Whitey" Wildman was born February 20, 1931 in Elwood, Ne to Ed and Margaret (Mauch) Wildman.

On November 1, 1958 he married the love of his life Margery (Erwin) Wildman in Albion, NE.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His family meant the world to him and he let them know it as often as he could.

He is survived by his wife Marge of Neligh, NE. Daughter Kim Rix of Neligh, NE. Son Eddie and wife Tricia Wildman of Palmer Alaska. Grandchildren Heidi (Jeremy) McConnell of Clearwater, Brett Rix of Royal, Aleacia Rix of Clearwater, Nick Wildman of Norfolk, Kayla, Kyle and Aidann Wildman of Palmer Alaska. 10 Great Grandchildren. Sister Delta Orthman of Scotia, Sister Madeline Schaepler of Arapahoe, Sister inlaw Jenny Wildman of Burwell. Several brother and sister inlaws, nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends that hold him dear.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother Gerald Wildman.
