Russel George Mummert

Memorial Service for Russel G. Mummert age 64 of Clearwater, NE will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 at United Methodist Church in Clearwater. Burial will be in Clearwater Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by Clearwater American Legion Post #267. There is no visitation. Russel passed away April 28, 2016 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk. Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Russel George Mummert was born on September 22, 1951 to Lamoine Mummert and Charlene (Twiss) Lange at Tilden, Nebraska. He attended school in Columbus, NE. He was a carpenter for most of his life. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing in the boat, and most of all riding his motorcycle. He was a member the Clearwater United Methodist Church. He is survived by his son, Joshua Mummert of Lincoln, NE. Sisters: Conda James of Neligh, NE and Elaine Vraspir of Neligh, NE. Brother, Cressel and Franchelle Mummert of Kalispell, MT. Aunts, Uncles, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents.
