Funeral Service for Virginia Soto, age 60 of Ewing, NE will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ewing, NE with Father John Norman, officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 20, 2022 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ewing. (There is no Wake service) Burial will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Ewing. Virginia Rae Soto was born on February 7, 1962 to Delbert and Janet (Pinkelman) Potter at Osmond, Nebraska. She attended part of her elementary school in Laurel, Nebraska and High School at Ewing High School. She was married to Lyle Steskal from 1980 to 2008. To this marriage two sons were born Christopher and Joshua. On April 2, 2011 she was united in marriage to Clifford Soto in Neligh until he passed away in 2015. She enjoyed watching TV Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons. She was always playing games on her phone, and coloring. Virginia also liked being outside doing yard work and gardening and being with her friends and family. Major Stokes contributed to her health issues threw the years.

She is survived by her sons: Christopher Steskal of Neligh, Ne and Joshua Steskal of Atkinson, NE. Three grandchildren: Dominic Griess of Fremont, NE, Brayden Steskal and Vincent Steskal both of Atkinson, NE. Her father, Delbert “Del” Potter of Neligh, NE. Sister: Wanda (Jeff) Henning of Clearwater, NE; brothers: Greg (Jennifer) Potter of IN; Alan (Carol) Potter of Ewing, NE; Rod (Judy) Potter of Tilden, NE; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her mother and husband Clifford Soto.
