Vonda Kay Kraft

Funeral Services for Vonda Kraft age 80 of Verdigre, NE will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1st Congregational United Church of Christ in Neligh, with Rev. Dr. Rebecca Z. McNeil, Officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh, NE. Vonda Kay (Vraspir) Kraft was born September 12, 1938, in Neligh to Tony and Emma Mae (Griffith) Vraspir. She attended Neligh Public School. On May 7, 1955, Vonda married the love of her life, John Kraft. To this union, seven children were born, Susan, Joan, John, Pam, Chuck, Bob, and Lori. Vonda’s family was her world. She was always looking out for them. She loved going to garage sales, having coffee with her sisters, crossword puzzles, and watching the game show channel. She enjoyed country music and dancing. On May 29, 2004 Vonda lost the love of her life. She continued to live in Neligh until her health declined.

She survived by her children, Susan Beckwith of Emmet, John (Sandy) of Dorchester, Pam (Dale) Pelster of Neligh, Chuck (Shelly) of Brunswick, Bob (Roxy) of Royal, and Lori (Darin) Boelter of Brunswick; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and two on the way; her sisters, Norma, Pat, and Shirley all of Neligh, and many nieces and nephews.

Meeting her in heaven, her beloved husband; daughter, Joan; two grandsons, Brady and Jeff; her brother Tony; son-in-law, Rod; and her companion and loving dog, Andy.
