Catherine May Kiehl was born on December 3, 1933 to Alex and Nina (Crothers) Winkler at Hart, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Harry Thrailkill and to this union had four boys Donald, Russel, David, and Roger. Later married William F. Kiehl to this union had one son William Jr.

Survived by her children: David and Wendy Thrailkill of Texas and their children David Shaun, Richard, Mary, Kayla; Roger and Vicky Thrailkill of Nebraska and their children April, Roger Jr, Cherokee, Cassandra, Courtney, and Mason; William Kiehl Jr. of Nebraska and his children Nathan, Bailey, and Maleah; and many great grandkids.

Preceded in death by her parents; spouses: William Sr. (1976) and Harry (1994) Thrailkill; sons Russell and Donald Thrailkill. Brothers and sisters.
