Memorial Service for Cindy L. Rice age 70 of Neligh, Nebraska will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church in Neligh with Pastor Brian Bucklew, officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Orchard Hill Cemetery. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Cindy passed away May 31, 2026 at Faith Health. Cindy Lou Rice was born on May 7, 1956 to Arlo and Myrna (Tubbs) Wulf in Norfolk, Nebraska. She graduated from Norfolk High School. On April 22, 1978 she was united in marriage to Michael Rice in Norfolk, Nebraska. She worked as a janitor for the Neligh Library, cooked at the School and dietary at Antelope Memorial Hospital. But most of all Cindy enjoyed her family. She loved supporting her grandkids with all their activities. She also enjoyed going shopping and to craft shows.

Cindy is survived by her children: KikiMarie (Jarrod) Reese of Stanton, NE; Nikki (Vincent) Kallhoff of Oakdale, NE; Kala (Kyle) Pelster of Neligh, NE; and nine grandchildren. Sister Debbie (Dave) Schramm of Norfolk, NE and brother Matt Wulf of Norfolk, NE. Sister-in-law Louise Pick of Ogalla, NE; Bev Rice of Silvis, IL; brother-in-law Lyle Dredge of Neligh, NE; and many nieces and nephews,

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother and sister-in-laws and parents-in-law.
