Memorial Services for Diane Steskal age 55, of Ewing, Nebraska, were Friday, January 29, 2010 at 10:30 at United Methodist-Presbyterian Church in Ewing, Nebraska with Pastor Eric Ford, Officiating. Music was by Nancy Harpster, Organist; Terri Johnson, Soloist. Burial was at the Ewing City Cemetery in Ewing. Pallbearers were Janis Dwyer, Connie Campfield, Marie Napier, Marilyn Palmer, Rose Keller, Rita Bartak, Beth Regan, Nancy Shavlick, Patty Depko, Tamera Jackson, Nancy Harpster, Nancy Flenniken, Phyllis Harlen, Sue Kallhoff, Sue Petersen, Donita Hagelmeier. Visitation was Thursday, January 28, 2010 4 - 7 p.m. at the United Methodist-Presbyterian Church.
Diane passed away Monday, January 25, 2010 at her home.

Diane Marie Steskal was born on June 5, 1954 to Dallas and Anna Bell (Lorenzen) Geu at West Point, Nebraska. She was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point, Nebraska. Diane went to school in West Point graduating with the class of 1972. She graduated with Bachelors Degree at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. On August 13, 1977 was united into marriage to Marvin Steskal in West Point, Nebraska. Diane owned and operated the Steskal's General Store, did preschool in her home, taught home economics and CNCS (WIC) in O'Neill, Nebraska. She was a member of the United Methodist-Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cross stitching, puzzles, golfing, watching T.V., and playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin. Her 4 children; Jennifer and husband Jason McHargue of Lincoln, NE, Carla Steskal of Seattle, WA, Pamela Steskal of Normal, IL, Mark Steskal of Lincoln, NE. 2 grandchildren; Morgan and Madison McHargue. Her parents of Beemer, NE. Sister; Arlene and husband Art Rolf of West Point, NE. Sister-in-law Donna and husband Trent Lancelot of Goodyear, AZ.
Preceded in death by her mother-in-law; Gladys Steskal.
