Funeral services for Donald Lee Goetzinger age 78 of Plainview will be held Tuesday, July 2nd, at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Paul's Catholic Church in Painview. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. on Monday July 1st at the St. Paul's Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Plainview. Don passed away June 27, 2019 at the Plainview Manor. Ashburn Funeral Home in Plainview is in charge of arrangements.

Don Goetzinger was born March 15, 1941 in Creighton, NE to Joseph and Margaret (Wingert) Goetzinger and passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Plainview Manor. 

	In 1944, the family moved to Plainview and he graduated from Plainview High School in 1959. 

	Don married Delores "Dee" Strahm on August 14, 1961 in Plainview. To this union two children were born, Chad and Sandy. Don worked on the Newt Lingenfelter Farms 
until 1970 and then moved the family to town, where he worked for Kuhl Implement and Green Line Equipment for 42 years until he retired. He was an avid gardener and loved
to watch college football, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

	He is survived by his wife Dee; his son Chad (LaNette) Goetzinger of Plainview, daughter Sandy (Stan) Stoll of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Dalton (Paige) Goetzinger
of Plainview, Katie (Eric) Woita of Plainview, Hillary Stoll and Caleb Stoll both of Lincoln; two great granddaughters, Kerrigan Woita and Olivia Goetzinger both of
Plainview; sisters Mary Ellen Ellefson of Clarinda, IA, Helen (Joel) Kee of Durham, NC, and Peg (Ron) Bonta of Plainview; sister in laws, Marilyn Goetzinger of Omaha,
and Marion Goetzinger of Plainview; and many nieces and nephews.
	
	He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Margaret Goetzinger; brothers, Jim, Charles, Alfred (Dorothy), Bob, and Butch; and sister Joan Lillie.
