     Jody Ann Burriell was born on June 5, 1950 to Otto F. and Joan (Harden) Neuhauser in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Omaha North High School 1968. She was united in marriage on June 6, 1971 to Jarry Schmidt and to this union Michael, Cindy, Joseph were born. Jarry passed away on March 20, 2008 at this time she moved to Plainview to be closer to her children. On October 28, 1996, she was united in marriage to Robert Burriell in Omaha. She worked at Camelot Cleaners and Norfolk Country Inn. She enjoyed going to the casino, shopping, fishing, race car racing, and motorcycles. Jody was a very caring person until the end she was worried about everyone else being taken care of instead of herself. She was a member of CB Club and she was known as Lazy Leopard.

     She is survived by her husband, Robert Burriell of Plainview, NE. Children, Michael Schmidt of Fremont, NE; Cindy Spriggs and Tim Taylor of Plainview, NE; Joseph Schmidt of Mobile, AL; and step daughter Heather (Bo) Cleveland of Norfolk, NE. Grandchildren Chrissy Jo Larson, Mickey Schmidt, Chelsea (Marcus) Davis, Maria Spriggs (Nick Wallace), Joshua Spriggs, Katlin Spriggs (DJ Amlin), Lani Jo Schmidt, Jaxon Schmidt, Alex Roof, Alexis Burriell, Bruce Lee Burriell, and six great grandchildren.

     Preceded in death by her parents.
