Kathleen A. Kudera

A celebration of life service for Kathleen A. Kudera (Shearer) age 79 of Plainview will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13 ^th at the United Methodist Church in Plainview.  Rev. Joan Alexander will officiate.  Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Plainview.

Kathleen was born December 5, 1938 to Marvin and Leona (Vogel) Shearer in Plainview, NE. and passed away March 16, 2019 at the Plainview Manor.  Kathy attended school and graduated from Plainview High School in 1956.  She married Duane Kudera February 12, 1960.

Throughout Kathy’s life she worked for Social Services, Plainview Manor and Pinnacle Tela-Marketing and also kept busy on the farm.  Kathy enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing bingo and cards.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her son Tim (Beth) Kudera of Plainview, Son-in-law Andy miller of Osmond, Sister Patty (Larry) of Hoffman of Columbus, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sister, her husband Duane and her daughter Cynthia Miller.
