Reva Faye Bassler

Celebration of Life visitation for Reva F. Bassler age 74 of Plainview, Nebraska will be April 17, 2027 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Plainview, Nebraska. Reva Faye Bassler was born on April 16, 1952 to Robert M. and Dorothy May (Brown) Ellis in Valentine, Nebraska. She graduated from Kilgore High School and attended College for Secretary at Rapid City, South Dakota for 1 year and Central Wyoming College for 1 year. She used her college education working with magazines and newspapers as an editor. She enjoyed reading, baking with her grandchildren, sewing, and embroidery. Reva really enjoyed her time with her children and especially loved when she got to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Cody.

She is survived by her children: Windi LaBounta, Joshua Bassler, Aurora Smith and husband Matthew, Danielle Bassler Nuss and husband Erik, Jeremiah Bassler, and Brandy Boatman. Grandchildren: Pamela Allen, Nicholas Allen, Devin, Brianna, Adyn Smith, Jadyn Baldwin, Lukas Bassler, EJ Nuss, Emily and Andrea Bassler. Brothers Robert Wayne Ellis and Randy Wade Ellis.

Preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Seth.
