Sherry Dawn Rohloff-Meyer died October 27, 2018 at Colonial Manor, Randolph, NE surrounded by family.  Visitation will be Thursday November 1, 2018 at St. Frances Catholic Church in Randolph from 5-7 pm.  Funeral services will be Friday November 2, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Frances Church in Randolph with Father Tim Forget officiating and assisted by Deacon Doug Tunink.

Arrangements are under direction of Ashburn Funeral Homes, Plainview, NE.

Sherry was born June 14, 1945 in Osmond, NE to Dale and Shirley (Runge) Brokaw.  Sherry attended Plainview High school where she graduated.
On November 28, 1964 Sherry married John Rohloff and the couple resided in Randolph, NE; unto this marriage the couple had 3 children.  John later passed in 1975.  Sherry then married Elmer Meyer in O'Neill, NE on June 30, 1981 with the directions of Father LaRoque.  The couple welcomed 2 more children to the family from this marriage.  Elmer and Sherry resided on a farm outside of Randolph, where Sherry still resided until entering the Colonial Manor.

Sherry was a farm wife, known as the "egg lady" to many, that really enjoyed her baby animals, cooking/canning, sewing, ceramics and most importantly visiting with family and friends.  She always welcomed company and wanted to spoil the grandkids.

Sherry is survived by her children; Kathy (Bobby) Hamilton, Holdrege, NE, Sheryl (Jeff) Prince, Osmond, NE, John Rohloff (Tonna Poppe), Randolph, NE, Michael Meyer, Crofton, NE, and Sara Umberger, Randolph, NE.  daughter-in-law Michelle (Thies) Meyer, Randolph, NE., 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Nyla (Dennis) Hansen, Meadow Grove, NE and Debbi Brokaw, Madison, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Rohloff  in 1975 and Elmer Meyer in 2014, son-in-law, Bob Umberger, granddaughter Bobbie Jo Umberger and brother, Merrill Brokaw.
