Funeral Services for Yvonne Thramer, age 88 of Ewing, Nebraska will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at St. Peter's Catholic Church of Ewing, with Father John Norman and Father James Kramper, Officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025 with a 7:00 p.m. Wake at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ewing. Yvonne passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh, NE. Arrangements are being conducted by Snider Memorial Funeral Home of Clearwater. Yvonne Bertha Thramer was born on September 11, 1936, to Joseph and Cecilia (Bauer) Mlnarik at their home in rural Ewing, Nebraska. She attended Ewing Public School and graduated from Ewing High School with the Class of 1953. After graduating, she attended Wayne State College. On November 15, 1955, she was united in marriage to Cletus Thramer at St. John’s Catholic Church. Yvonne taught country school, was a stay at home mom, secretary for Thramer Farm Supply, and in her later years, she volunteered at The Sunset Store. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, and St. Peter’s Choir. She was involved in card club and community club. Yvonne enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, dominoes, canning, praying the Rosary, and having coffee with friends and family; but most of all spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.
Survived by her children: Becky (Randy) Kaczor of Ewing, NE; Greg (Carm) Thramer of Ewing, NE; Connie (Terry) Kaczor of Ewing, NE; Cindy Thramer of Cozad, NE; Tammy (Mike) Summers of Ewing, NE; and Larry (Heidi) Thramer of North Platte, NE. 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Sister Clarie (Vern) Freise of Ralston, NE; brothers John (Barb) Mlnarik of Clearwater, NE; Richard (Mary) Mlnarik of O’Neill, NE; and Tom (Sue) Mlnarik of Ewing, NE. Many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband Cletus; son Tim; and great granddaughter Nova. Sister Joan (Sam) Stearns; brother-in-law Alex (Joyce) Thramer; Mark (Joan) Thramer; sister-in-law Loretta (Ludwig) Tagel; Alice (Clarence) Funk; Bernadine (Bob) Walnofer.
